Veterinary Program
A leader in education, Lutheran North Academy is taking the next step in preparing students for careers in health and science related fields. The Veterinary Program, provides students with the coursework and real-world experience in these fields.
This program is ideal for students who would like to study veterinary science at the college level. This program spans a broad array of topics in all facets of veterinary medicine, including but not limited to:
- Managing a Veterinary Practice
- Laws Related to Veterinary Medicine
- Biosecurity
- Animal Nutrition
- Anatomy & Physiology
- Immunology
- Pharmacology
- Laboratory Skills
- Diagnostic Imaging
- Surgery Animal Identification and Movement
The veterinary program is open to juniors and seniors who maintain a 3.5+ GPA in his/her science courses. Students must have completed biology and anatomy or currently enrolled in anatomy to be enrolled in this course.
